Its story

The festival ran in April 2024, the month The Lab at Zanies opened: a 100-seat room next door to Zanies Nashville, a club for more than 40 years, with its own kitchen and a full liquor bar, and now the home of Nateland. Its producer, Outback Presents, founded in 1996, promotes comedy, festivals and music across North America. Michael Smardak, its founder and co-chief executive, co-created the Blue Collar Comedy Tour with Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall and Ron White, who plays the Ryman in 2027, and a Nate Bargatze show of his drew the largest paid crowd Bridgestone Arena has had. Brian Dorfman, owner and co-chief executive, owns comedy clubs and properties across the US.
