Montreux Comedy, founded by Grégoire Furrer and produced by GF Productions SA, holds its 37th edition from 11 to 22 November 2026 across two cities. Most of its galas play the Théâtre de Beaulieu in Lausanne, and for the closing days the festival goes back, after three years away, to the Auditorium Stravinski at the 2M2C in Montreux. The galas gather francophone stand-ups around hosts such as Pierre Thevenoux, Meryem and Edgar-Yves.

Tickets
Tickets are bought gala by gala from the festival's own online ticket office. A First Row pass adds a front-row seat, the premium bar and a drink, and a Backstage pass a one-hour backstage visit with a cocktail. Those aged 16 to 19 pay half price in category 1, on showing ID, except at the galas of 13, 14, 20 and 21 November. Children under 16 are advised against, and minors need a parent.
Before you go
Each theatre opens an hour and a half before the show, and the festival asks people to arrive 45 minutes early; the hall doors open 30 minutes before each gala, and numbered seats are kept only until 10 minutes before the time on the ticket. Two bars with light food serve the main hall and the balcony foyer. The 3 and 20 buses from Lausanne station stop at Beaulieu-Jomini and the 21 at Beaulieu, and the Parking de Beaulieu, underground with 500 spaces, often fills. In Montreux, lines 201 and 204 stop at Montreux Vernex, and with Montreux Noël filling the town centre, drivers are sent to park-and-ride sites with free shuttles. A number of Lausanne hotels give festival-goers 10 to 20% off their best daily rate.
