Before you go

In 2026 every room handled drinks its own way. 1 Guinea St had a bar upstairs and another in the room; the comedy at The Refuge was under The Mermaid, a basement bar on Gandy Street; Music Depot audiences took in drinks bought at Little Drop of Poison, and at the Roots Foundation audiences brought their own. The Fat Pig, a backstreet pub that welcomes dogs, cooks food to order, and the Topsham Brewery taproom, by the Exeter Canal Basin, has a pizza truck, Portal. Custom House had a bar for the festival, as did the Corn Exchange, and the Barnfield's café bar opens every Friday from 10am to 4pm and before shows.
