How do I get home after a late show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival?

The short answer

Night Network: On weekend nights, Melbourne's trains, trams and buses keep running. Silver Top Taxi: Silver Top's taxis run around the clock across Melbourne.

Night Network

On weekend nights, Melbourne's trains, trams and buses keep running. Night trains come about every 60 minutes on almost every line, and after 1am every train runs to and from Flinders Street and Town Hall stations; some inner-city stations, among them Melbourne Central, Parliament and State Library, close just after midnight. Night trams on routes 19, 67, 75, 86, 96 and 109 run every 30 minutes, and a trip inside the city's Free Tram Zone is free. You can't buy or top up a myki on a tram or bus.
