What is SF Sketchfest?

The short answer

David Owen, Cole Stratton and Janet Varney founded SF Sketchfest in 2001, and the first festival opened in January 2002, with six Bay Area sketch groups on the stage of San Francisco's Shelton Theatre. It is now a nationally recognized festival where headliners from across the country share the programme with local favorites and new groups: stand-up and alternative comedy as well as sketch and improv.
