Rogue Island Comedy Festival

Newport, Rhode Island, hosts the Rogue Island Comedy Festival twice a year, over Memorial Day weekend in May and Columbus Day weekend in October, and it was the first stand-up festival in the state. Touring headliners, rising comics and regional acts share shows of six or seven comedians in theatres, breweries, bars and restaurants around Newport and nearby towns. Doug Key and Katie Latimer started it in 2015, and it is still independently run, made by comics for fans of comedy.
