Buxton Festival Fringe 2027

7–25 July 2027

An open-access fringe that has run alongside the Buxton International Festival every July since 1980. A volunteer-run charity organises it but picks no shows, so 150 to 200 entries fill the spa town's churches, pubs, hotels and theatre spaces; 2026, with about 230, was its biggest yet. Stand-up and improv are part of the mix, with comedy rooms at the Underground at Spring Gardens and the Den of Laughs.

The 2027 festival

The Buxton Festival Fringe 2027 runs 19 days, from Wednesday 7 July 2027 to Sunday 25 July 2027, in Buxton, England. A fringe, with comedy among its arts: stand-up and improv. Tickets, times and the full programme are on the festival's own site.
